M-CARE.project meetings 2013-2015 a Grundtvig learning partnership project

During the project there are planned 5 meetings, 4 transnational workshops and an International Conference. The main aims of these meetings are to know the premises of the institutions, to study and observe the activities they they are caring out, information transfer, exchanging experiences and good practices. Furthermore, the meetings will allow the necessary communication among the partners for an exchange of knowledge and best practices. Thanks to these meetings, the mobilities will be achieved.

The 1st PARTNERSHIP MEETING and workshop "Conceptual frameworks and their applications in care-process"
Meeting theme and aims:

- getting to know each other

- to have a clear picture of the project, overview of deliverables and upcoming time-schedule

- to discuss any possible changes, difficulties with partners

- to define the frames of activities

- to discuss further milestones and fix the calendar of activities

- to establish the responsibility of each partner and distribution of roles/tasks

- to sign the Mutually agreement of the Partnership

Workshop:

- to introduce, define the 'care process', 'dependency' and 'human interdependencies' terms

- to give awareness about the interpersonal relations between the carer-dependent person, and about their needs

- to understand the carer-patient dynamics and the mutual exchange of care between the carer and care recipient

- to understand why 'Mutuality' should underlie the educational approaches on disability issues and could redesign educational systems

- know how transfer, exchanging information/experiences and good practices

- to increase knowledge and personal skills of project learners

- Reporting the activities done within the project

- Planning next project activities

- Discussing the Project Progress Report

Workshop:

- to present the variety of approaches on the eldderly care issue - meetings with volunteers, students, medical staff and social workers

- to raise awarness about and discuss the educational challenges in the social and medical care - elderly care

- know how transfer, exchanging information/experiences and good practices

- to increase knowledge and personal skills of project learners

Riga, Latvia, 19th - 24th of September 2014

Meeting theme and aims:

- Reporting the activities done within the project and to have a clear picture of the 1st year of project life time

- Planning next year project activities

- Discussing the Project Progress Report

- Study visits to relevant places

- Exchange of experiences and good practices.

Workshop:

- to understand the carer-patient dynamics and the mutual exchange of care between the carer and care recipient

- to understand why "Mutuality" should underlie the educational approaches on disability care issues and could redesign educational systems

- to increase knowledge and personal skills of project learners - know how transfer, exchanging information/experiences and good practices

- To evaluate and to review the project, its deliverables and upcoming time-schedule

- To visit local relevant places well experienced in the field of mutual caring in order to share informations and spread over knowledges

- To share experiences and good practices, know-how transfer

Workshop:

- To understand the importance of the concept of mutuality in the caring and in educational, social, political and health systems

- To understand and debate why "Mutuality" should improve quality of life of people affected by disability and of their care-givers

- To realize know how transfer, exchanging information/experiences and good practices

- To increase the knowledge and personal skills of project learners

Meeting theme and aims:

- to analyze the results of each partner and the common of the Partnership

- to complete and prepare for publication the M-CARE Handbook and M-CARE Project booklet of results

- to collect materials for final evaluation/report and work together on the Final Report and recommendations

- to complete the final evaluation questionnaires and quality/quantitative evaluation

- to draw conclusions and recommendations for decision-makers and stakeholders to review the changes, difficulties, and activities

International Conference:

- To understand the importance of the concept of mutuality in the educational, social, political and health systems

- To increase the knowledge and personal skills of project learners
